Dr. James Lee

FOUNDER Dr. James W. Lee is a cum laude graduate of Yale University, with a BS in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. He earned his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine with numerous academic honors, including the American Federation of Aging Research Award. He was also named Physician of the Year at El Centro Regional Medical Center in 2004 and is the creator of the UGLeePen. Based on his unique work and experience, Dr. Lee offers an alternative approach to getting a competitive advantage in academics, career, and life. A big believer in the importance of balance between mind, body, and spirit, his “Science of Happiness” lecture at UCSD was one of the most popular of the year, according to the provost of Warren College! Dr. Tess Mauricio

FOUNDER Dr. Tess Mauricio is a Board Certified Dermatologist, graduate of Stanford University School of Medicine, and a Summa Cum Laude graduate of UCSD. She is also the founder of M Beauty Clinic by Dr. Tess with multiple clinics in Southern California. Dr. Tess was the youngest woman to hold the position of President Of The San Diego Society for Dermatologic Surgery and is a published author, renowned speaker, and media personality with appearances on Dr. Phil, The Dr. Oz Show, America’s Next Top Model, The Talk on CBS, and more. She also stars in and produces The Dr. Tess Show, which airs on GMA Pinoy TV. Her book, California Total Beauty, is all about the importance of achieving health and beauty both inside and out and she believes strongly in improving not only the lives of her patients, but also the betterment of the community.

Since opening M Beauty Clinic by Dr. Tess, we’ve realized that what’s inside is just as important as what’s outside, and it has always been an integral part of our practice to give back to the community and help people be “You at Your Best” mind, body, and soul. M Beauty Life Center is the culmination of this idea.
